Silent Auction

Dear Friends,

For the very first time, our council, SCMSDC will be holding a silent auction at our 35th annual Leadership Excellence Awards (LEA) gala to be held November 14, 2019 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. 

And, because LEA is the most highly attended event by corporate members, your company now has an opportunity to be visible to potential clients, while contributing to the success of the only major event at which community leaders and corporate members are recognized for their achievements in supplier diversity and for their positive impact to our minority business community.

As a silent auction donor, your company will be listed on our “Appreciation Page” of our LEA souvenir program to be distributed in our post-event digital programs.  Moreover, should you wish to do so, your display at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel’s Tiffany Ballroom will include your company marketing materials and your company logo, as well as a brief message to the corporate leaders being recognized.  In addition, our post-event press release, which is published in national minority publications, will include your company name as having contributed to the success of our gala.

SCMSDC is the premiere organization whose vision is “Business Beyond Barriers,” and whose mission is to ensure minority-owned businesses are given access to business opportunities and connections to potential clients.  It is the organization that has existed for nearly 50 years promoting the importance of supplier diversity in its 13 Southern California counties and beyond so as to level the playing field for diverse businesses, specifically for minority-owned businesses.

For the duration of these many years, SCMSDC has conducted numerous activities that have helped  both Corporates and MBEs achieve success, and with this letter, we ask for your support so as to continue our mission, and to remain as successful in the future as our past legacy has proven for our minority business community.

For your review and convenience, below is a list of suggested auction items. The requested minimum value of each item is $500. We would like to receive confirmation of auction item donation by Monday, October 31, 2019. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for supporting SCMSDC and its work.
